There is good news for some drivers who use the Angela Bridge in South Bend.

The bridge rehab project has been completed ahead of schedule.

There may be a span of time with the bridge re-opening that the traffic signals at the east end of the bridge at Northshore Drive may remain in 4-Way flash mode until the crew can get the site to revert the normal operation.

There is also the possibility this process could be delayed longer if there has been damage from the storm on Wednesday, July 16, to other higher priority locations / intersections which may require their immediate attention.

If that is still the case when you’re driving through, be sure to treat the lights as an all-way stop and take extra caution.
