No injuries reported in house fire

One person was able to escape a house that caught fire in Elkhart.
Crews were called just before 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, to the 3200 block of Pleasant Plain Avenue.
On arrival, firefighters found smoke pouring from the eves of the structure.
Squad members made entry into the home and quickly brought the fire under control.
No other occupants or pets were inside when a search of the structure was completed.
There was no report of any injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
