Your senator wants to make Indiana an official ‘tech hub’ for the United States.
Republican Senator Todd Young has sent a letter from all of Indiana’s congressional delegation in support of the Hoosier State’s application to be named a Regional Technology & Innovation Hub.
Phase One of the process sees twenty tech hubs named, which will then allow for those states to compete for 500-million-dollars worth of funding in Phase Two.
Senator Young is convinced Indiana is the ideal place to receive that technology funding, “our expansive network of universities and community colleges will ensure that everyone has access to the training needed to participate in this new economy. Our established life sciences sector will ensure a pipeline of innovative treatments. Our advanced manufacturing heritage will guarantee the drugs of the future are Made in America. And our preeminent logistics infrastructure will ensure that we can distribute the products we make.”
Young introduced the tech hub concept in the Endless Frontier Act of 2020, which eventually became law in the CHIPS and Science Act, signed into law by President Joe Biden in 2022.

We don’t need government investment, we need government to get the heck outta the way and let us innovate. All that government money was pulled out of the economy so they could use it to pick winners and losers. We’d all be better off if they just left it in the hands of the people who earned it, and let THEM invest it wisely.
This is just another government game show. Which contestant will we choose today? Who will go home with the (money you paid for entry) tech hub today? While everything ‘managed’ by the government returns, by a large margin, less money than it took.
The country is collapsing around our ears and Toady Young want to talk about high tech. If you include social media in the “high tech” definition I think we can agree that it is destroying our kids. I see my dollars being shrunk by the Biden nominees Toad Yong voted for. I see our military being destroyed by the nominees Toad Young voted to confirm. I see an outright and blatant attack on the family by the Biden nominees Toad Young voted for. I see our god given guaranteed civil rights being diminished or eliminated by the bills Toad Young voted for. When I see Toady Young resign from the Senate and use his OWN +MONEY to provide affordable housing I might consider his ideas. I would like affordable housing but no government can provide that except to get out of the way of a thriving economy. RINO Toad Young borders on becoming a Marxicrat. That is the way he votes. That is the way he thinks. What good is he to a free people? The bottom line: There is NO PROVISION in the US Constitution that authorizes any dollars being spent by the US Treasury on Housing except for our military on their bases. That is the trouble with Marxicrats and RINOs. They have a ball spending other people’s money on their pet project that most people would not spend on their own.
