New flag proposed for Mishawaka

A new city flag is proposed in Mishawaka, and some residents aren’t so sure about the change.

WNDU reports that the change comes from Joshua Lange from the city’s youth common council.

The flag has some symbolic meaning. The four stars represent the original towns of Mishawaka. There’s also the letter “M” which stands for Mishawaka.

Some residents say that they do not see the connection and like the original design more.

Nothing wrong with the existing Mishawaka city flag. This woke choice looks almost like the South Bend flag. Most of those folks didn’t like the forced change either. Ask the people what flag they want to represent the princess city.

There was a flag? Who’s been out waiving it? Sounds like a pointless endeavor to change it…only looking for a little attention. Like Adam said it’s wokeness self affirming nonsense.

What will the cost be for the taxpayers? Is this really necessary? Who’s idea is this?

To the people who live in the city limits of Mishawaka. Call your city council representative about it. Voice your concerns about this woke flag they are proposing.
