An Edwardsburg man was given probation and the chance to turn his life around.

53-year-old Daniel Sage pleaded guilty to delivery and possession of meth.

He was sentenced to three years probation in the swift and sure program and ordered to pay almost $3,200.

The incident happened in December last year when his car was stopped by police.

Leader Publications reports that Sage apologized for his criminal activity.

If Sage does not complete the probation programs, he faces eleven years behind bars.
