The news on catalytic converter thefts is both good, and bad.

These thefts are down by nearly 70% in Indiana, but compared to the nationwide numbers from 2019 there is still a staggering 2100 percent increase nationwide.

The public data company BeenVerified has completed a report on the thefts of catalytic converters since 2019, and showed a year to year decrease of 69.8% for Indiana since 2022, but still an increase in the state of 1740% in the last three years.
