YWCA and South Bend City Clerk’s Office hosting women and baby toiletry drive

A way to help women and babies.

The South Bend City Clerk’s Office is partnering with the YWCA to host their first Women and Baby Toiletry Drive. It’s starting on Monday, Jan. 16.

They are collecting women’s toiletry items including body wash, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, hair gel, hair grease, combs, brushes, towels, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss, pillows, sheets, comforters, tampons, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, and planners.

They are also collecting items for babies, including diaper bags, baby wipes, diapers, clothing, reusable food pouches, body wash, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, teething rings, first aid kits, bottle brushes, bibs, swaddles, towels, crib sheets, combs, brushes, and more.

Donations will be accepted until Monday, Feb. 3 at the South Bend City Clerk’s Office, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.. All tax-deductible monetary donations and gift cards can be dropped off as well.

If you or someone you know needs help, the YWCA is there 24 hours a day.
