Gang symbols are all around Elkhart marking territories, as if we all don’t live together. South Bend has the highest crime and it’s spilling over into Elkhart & Goshen areas. It’s getting bad everywhere and efforts to curb this trend needs to be stepped up by the public, the police, the mayor and anyone else who can serve as a authority on these matters.

This will continue to get worse until we as a society get back to the hard line of punishing crimes instead of forgiving criminals.

The rule of law is dying by degrees because we keep making excuses for people.
