If you’re looking to find the best cook in Michiana, the wait will soon be over. 

The 12th annual “Greatest Chefs of Michiana” event is happening on October 19.

It kicks off at 6 p.m. at Four Winds Casino Hotel-Resort in South Bend, raising money for families and individuals in need through the YMCA of Michiana.

Local celebrities will set up chefs from the area to create a new dish to serve at the chef’s restaurant and at the event.

Those who attend the event are able to buy votes for their favorite team before the event, as well as at the event.
