Union Michigan man, 79, killed in crash on Redfield Street

A Union, Michigan man died after a crash on Redfield Street, west of Adamsville Road,

The collision happened on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 2, according to the Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg Police Department.

The investigation revealed that Robert Lockmondy, 79, was traveling eastbound on Redfield Street when he crossed the center line, west of Adamsville Road, and hit a tree.

It’s believed Lockmondy suffered a medical issue prior to the crash.

He died at the hospital.
