A woman was shot and killed at Beacon Heights apartments in South Bend.

The shooting happened around 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The South Bend Police Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.

There was no word about a suspect or arrests.
