Candlelight vigil set for child who died in Medaryville house fire

A candlelight vigil was planned for Wednesday evening for a child who was killed in a Pulaski County house fire.

Officials responded to the fire around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21, in Medaryville.

Firefighters were unable to reach the child who was still in the home.

Other children and an adult were checked out at the scene by EMS.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Area churches will hold a vigil at 6 pm at the Medaryville baseball diamond.
