A confinement officer has been arrested on sexual battery charges.

Indiana State Police say a complaint was made in mid-November about misconduct inside the LaGrange County Jail.

After an investigation, a warrant was issued for the arrest of 21-year-old Jaden Boyd of LaGrange, who was working at the jail.

He was found at his home and taken into custody.

Boyd is being held in the Steuben County Jail.

The official charge is sexual misconduct with a service provider, as a level 5 felony.
