Police: Alcohol may be factor in Cass County crash

A Niles man was injured in a crash. It happened just after 12 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, in Cass County’s Howard Township near the intersection of Barron Lake Road and White Street.

The 30 year-old driver was headed north on Barron Lake when he went off the road and struck both a telephone pole and a tree.

He was transported to Corewell Hospital for his injuries.

Police believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
