A new hotel could be coming in the next phase of development for the Grandview development at Cleveland and Gumwood Roads.

The South Bend Tribune says the next phase costs $175 million and will continue to meet the need for high end homes, retail, and hospitality.

The construction includes 246 studio, one and two bedroom floor plans, with a pool, fitness center, clubhouse, and even more.

Developers are also planning to build two and three bedroom townhouses as well. The hotel room is expected to have 125 rooms.

The city Redevelopment Commission is also considering plans for single-site Tax Increment Finance district for the project so that it does not exceed $14 million to help pay for necessities.

No word on when construction will start.
