NIPSCO customers struggling to pay bills may be eligible for assistance

NIPSCO customers struggling to pay their gas utility bills may be eligible for additional assistance.

Income-eligible customers, seniors, active military and veterans experiencing financial difficulty may qualify for a one-time benefit of up to $400 per year.

The SERV program is an income-eligible assistance program for active military and eligible veterans NIPSCO customers with an active residential gas utility account that is past due.

The SILVER program is available for customers age 60 or older with an active NIPSCO residential gas utility account that is past due. A full list of programs and rebates can be found on the NIPSCO website.
