One person injured, Elkhart County crash

One person was injured after a crash Monday, December 11, at 9:31 p.m..

It happened on County Road 34 west of County Road 31, in Elkhart County.

Officers say they received a call of the singled vehicle crash involving a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The driver, an 18-year-old man, says he lost control of the Jeep, ran off the roadway, and crashed into a yard. The man says he had neck pain and a laceration to the head.

He was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital.
