South Bend man who pulled gun in Niles Walmart sentenced

A South Bend man who fought with and pulled a gun on two people at the Niles Walmart has been sentenced.

It happened in October last year, when the car 33-year-old Brandon Jay Vaughn almost hit an older couple walking into the store.

Later on, Vaughn and his girlfriend got into a fight with the couple and pointed a gun at them.

He pleaded guilty to attempted assault with a dangerous weapon and was sentenced to two years probation.

Leader Publications reports that Vaughn now has to have an anger management assessment.
