Murder suspect questioned in Michigan before cancer death on ongoing cases

Before his death last week, a convicted murderer was interviewed by authorities looking into a number of unsolved homicides and missing persons cases.

Sheriff’s officials in Kent County say they gained information from their three interviews with 66 year-old Garry Artman in the days before his death from cancer last week.

Artman was a truck driver imprisoned in Jackson, Michigan. Officials are working with other law enforcement agencies to make connections with a number of unsolved cases. Police in Grand Rapids have already connected Artman to the disappearance of a woman nearly 30 years ago
