The Marion County prosecutors office has filed charges against Armaandeep Singh for his role in a crash that injured Indiana State Trooper Azariah Keith.
Singh is being charged with two level 5 felonies. Causing Serious Bodily Injury When Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Causing Serious Bodily Injury When Operating a Motor Vehicle With an ACE of .08 or More.
The court has set bond for Singh at $50,000 which is greater than the standard usually set for crimes of this nature.
The motion for greater bond states that Singh is a flight risk given he is a U.S. asylum seeker and is only tied to Indianapolis because of a girlfriend, and sick aunt.
They also report he had been living out of his girlfriend’s car prior to his arrest.
