Niles man arraigned in shooting

An 18 year-old has been arraigned in connection with a recent shooting near Little Caesars in Niles.

Sawyer Matthew Holloway, 18, of Niles was arraigned last week and faces five felony charges. Those include one charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, carrying a concealed weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The 34 year-old victim in the shooting was treated and released.

Holloway is due in court on January 31, with a preliminary hearing set for February 6.
