Man wanted for rape arrested after calling to report an unrelated crime

A man who was wanted for rape was arrested after calling the LaPorte County Sheriff’s office to report an unrelated crime.

Deputies were called to C. R. 450 S on a complaint of harassment, and determined the complaint had come from 28 year-old Kyle Terusiak, who was wanted for rape. A warrant had been issued for his arrest on January 5. Deputies arrived at the home and took him into custody.

Terusiak faces a felony charge associated with the rape case.
