SB church hosts community prayer for victims of tragic fire

A South Bend church is set to host a community prayer in remembrance of the five children who were tragically lost in a house fire over the weekend.

The prayer service is scheduled at Interfaith Christian Union at noon on Sunday. The entire community is welcome to join and offer prayers for the grieving family, neighbors, and the firefighters who bravely responded that night. In addition, organizers are actively seeking donations of fire extinguishers to distribute to 1,000 households.

Those interested in contributing a fire extinguisher can drop it off at the Interfaith Christian Union.
