The Notre Dame Film Festival celebrated its 35th year over the weekend.
The festival has been showcasing student films since 1990, and 14 films were featured this year. All of the films were shot on location and featured Notre Dame students and faculty as actors.
Associate Professor Ted Mandell said, “I think what makes the festival so special is that students get to enjoy the rewards of their hard work. They worked very hard during the semester, and then they had a full audience to applaud for the film. They get a response that they wouldn’t get in the classroom with a screening at the Browning.”

Are any of these films going to show the recently settled sexual abuse cases that many of the players were victim to from the school’s Team Doctor? They like to keep that hush hush, but I happen to have one of the offers made to silence the victims.
