One person died in a crash in the 1400 block of Range Line Road in Buchanan Township Monday morning.

Michigan State Police say the driver of the van was traveling south when they went off the road and struck a tree, trapping the driver inside as the vehicle caught fire.

Police do not know yet if alcohol or drugs are factors in the crash, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
