Goshen High School students will soon have the chance to learn about Firefighting and Paramedic duties.
A partnership between Goshen Community Schools and the City of Goshen is meant to introduce students to a possible first responder career and hopefully fill open first responder positions.
Through the partnership, students can enroll in a two-year program and attain certifications through Ivy Tech, meeting the requirements for careers as firefighters or EMT’s.
The program is expected to start during the 2024-25 school year.
