A week after he was placed on leave, Goshen College fired the Director of the Goshen College Symphony Orchestra and Associate Professor of Music.

This, after an article in the  Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that that detailed Richard Brunson’s resignation from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the wake of a sexual harassment investigation dating back to 2022.

That investigation was not made known to Goshen College until the newspaper’s article.

Brunson’s lawyer issued a statement to the student-run newspaper, “The Record” saying Brunson, knowing he has done wrong, continues to pray and asks for patience, grace, and an opportunity to be heard.
