A South Bend man on a motorcycle was killed in a crash on South Ironwood Drive.

It happened around 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, at the intersection of Southern View.

Nicholas Shawn Kenneth Benson, 23, was traveling southbound when he collided with a vehicle that was turning left onto Ironwood, according to the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team.

Benson died at the scene. The Elkhart woman driving the car suffered minor injuries, as did her passenger. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. She’s cooperating with the investigation.

The crash remains under investigation by the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team.
