Parents charged in overdose death of six-month-old baby

There are new details regarding the overdose death of a 6 month-old baby in Elkhart last month.
Police were called to the home on Jan. 18, 2024, to find the boy not breathing. He later died at the hospital.
Police found trash and rotting food in the house, and a baby bottle filled with a brown liquid with a fly floating in it.
The autopsy determined the child died of meth and fentanyl toxicity. His parents, Owen Miller and Nichole Neely will be appearing in court on neglect charges.
