Two bald eagles could be hatched soon at St. Patrick’s County Park

At least two bald eagles could be hatched soon at St. Patrick’s County Park in South Bend.

The South Bend Tribune reports that the first egg was laid on Jan. 24, and the second appeared on Feb. 27.

If you want to see the birds for yourself, there is a place where you can stand and get a view of the nest off of the trail that runs “east of the park gate along Laurel Road.”

That being said, you are asked not to approach the nest or its birds, to keep the creatures safe.
