South Bend Police Department sets record straight regarding ‘shots-fired’ incident

The South Bend Police Department is setting the record straight about a shots-fired incident.
It happened around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, in the area of Lincoln Way West and Adams Street.
Officers were flagged down to investigate a report of road rage involving a firearm.
As officers were investigating, an officer heard gunfire nearby.
 The department says at no point did a suspect fire a weapon at police, nor did police shoot at a suspect.
The two suspects involved in the original incident were detained after a traffic stop and foot pursuit and were arrested on various preliminary charges.

Pete did t do anything good for south bend except get bikes because he likes them.
