Governor Holcomb is taking precaution as April 8th’s solar eclipse draws near.
He has signed an executive order in anticipation of increased emergency service needs.
The order declares a statewide disaster emergency which is currently in effect until April 9.
Holcomb says he expects a great number of visitors to be traveling in the state, which may impact emergency response times, communications, transportation and more.
