If you’re planning to visit an Indiana DNR property to view the total solar eclipse, you may have a lot of company.

54 properties managed by the DNR are in the zone of totality for the April 8th eclipse, and they’re welcoming you to visit.

However, they say that if you’re planning to visit a property within the zone of totality, you should expect a lot of company.

Gates will be closing to cars and pedestrians once parking areas are full. Entrance gates at Indiana State Park properties will be opening at 7 a.m. on the day of the eclipse, and normal gate fees will be charged. However, there are no entrance gate fees at other state-managed DNR properties.
