Mishawaka, South Bend mayors to give annual ‘State of the City’ addresses

Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood is getting ready to give his annual “State of the City” address.
He’s expected to talk about the city’s accomplishments during the past year, as well as goals he’d like the city to achieve in the next 12 months.
The speech is set for 6 p.m. on April 11, in front of the Mishawaka Common Council. The public is invited to to attend. The address will also be streamed live on Facebook and broadcast live on Michiana Access T-V.
Wood isn’t the only local mayor to deliver a State Of The City Address on Thursday night.  South Bend Mayor James Mueller will deliver his 2024 State of the City.
It’s taking place at 6 o’clock at at Riley High School on Fellows Street.
The address is open to the public, though residents who plan to attend are asked to RSVP on the city’s website: www.southbendin.gov/sotc.
