The body of an elderly woman was pulled out of a pond in Osceola on Sunday.

Officials were called to a home on Wildwood Drive around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 14.

A woman was reported as missing after she went out to walk her dog early in the morning. Family members found her body floating in the pond, which is behind the home, before the officers responded.

She was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead. Authorities believe the woman likely suffered some sort of medical attack before falling into the water.
