It only took 45 minutes for the jury to come back with a unanimous verdict in a 70-year-old South Bend man’s case.

The Michiana area saw a great number of bank robberies in 2013, with Dennis Love eventually being tracked down by the FBI.

Love was found guilty, on Tuesday, of his latest attempt to rob the Cassopolis Fifth Third Bank which happened on February 27 last year.

He was able to make off with around $1,554 and fled to a van waiting for him down the block.

FBI Agents spotted the van outside Love’s home a few days later, and evidence including a yellow Dollar General bag, motorcycle helmet, sandals, and cash were found inside.

Love will be sentenced as a habitual offender at his sentencing hearing on May 10.
