Indiana Toll Road Troopers from several districts worked together to conduct a saturation patrol last week.

Troopers from Bremen, Peru, Lowell and Fort Wayne Districts worked on the Toll Road from 8 to 5 Monday April 15 and Tuesday April 16.

The results of the patrols turned up 36 criminal arrests, with four being felony arrests and 28 drug arrests. Three OWI arrests were made, 37 moving citations and 40 non-moving citations were made, and 148 warnings were issued.

Only two minor crashes were reported at toll plazas during this period.

Focused patrols will continue to be utilized as construction and vacation season approaches, with an effort being made to reduce aggressive and impaired driving.
