ND students who fought the KKK honored by new exhibit

A new exhibit celebrates the bravery of Notre Dame students who stood up to the Ku Klux Klan 100 years ago.

The St. Joseph County Public Library is featuring “Resist,” an exhibit that showcases how Notre Dame students fought back against the Klan.

Exactly 100 years ago this week, the KKK held a three-day rally in South Bend, aiming to intimidate minorities and Catholics. However, Notre Dame students confronted them, standing against their hateful actions.
