Walmart associates have received some good news this week.

Walmart announced a new annual bonus program for eligible full and part-time hourly associates in stores.

Eligible associates must be employed with the company for a year, meaning about 17,000 of hourly store associates in Indiana are eligible for the bonus.

They say the longer an associate is with the company, the higher their bonus potential is, up to $1,000 a year.

Walmart has also launched the Associate to Technician program which helps address the skilled trade labor shortage and create new career opportunities at Walmart.

A new Total Pay & Benefits feature in the Me@Walmart app also gives associates the opportunity to easily see their pay, 401k, Associate Stock Purchase Plan, benefits in more, all from their device.

And, Walmart is doubling the number of skills certificates available through the Walmart-paid Live Better U benefit.
