Police are investigating after two fires happened at Matthy’s Little League park within two days.

The park, which has been empty for a while, raised concerns about what might have caused these fires to break out so

On Friday around 7:30 p.m., the South Bend Fire Department responded to a fire at Matthy’s Little League park on Meadow Lane.

Then, less than 24 hours later, around 6 p.m. on Saturday, they were called to another fire at the exact location.
