Troopers from the Lowell Post had a busy late shift focused on criminal and traffic activity, this past weekend, on I-80.

As a result of their efforts, 50 criminal arrests were recorded, with 18 of those being individuals charged with Reckless Driving as a result of their dangerous high speed while driving on I-80/94.

Eight individuals were arrested for Operating While Intoxicated. Troopers were also involved in four vehicle pursuits which are also accounted for in the arrest total.
