Four Red Cross volunteers from Northwest Indiana are heading to Louisiana to assist with Hurricane Francine disaster relief.

Red Cross deployments usually last two weeks but can be adjusted based on the disaster’s severity.

Preparations for the hurricane began well before it made landfall, with hundreds of volunteers, vehicles, and supplies already deployed to provide immediate aid to those affected.
