Elkhart County Election Board schedules poll worker training sessions

The Elkhart County Election Board has scheduled the poll worker training sessions for the 2024 Presidential General Election.

Those interested in working at a voting center must contact the Republican or Democratic Party before signing up for training.

Trainings will be held at the Election Board Storage Area between October 9 and 28.

Vote Center Board members are paid $130 for clerks or facilitators or $170 for supervisors.

Poll workers are required to attend training and work the full day at the polls on Election Day.

• 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15
• 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23

• 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16
• 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17
• 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17

• 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23
