Man arrested after foot pursuit in Goshen

A man was arrested following a brief foot chase with law enforcement in Goshen.
It was around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, when officers responded to reports of a possible burglary in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. While investigating the area, officers encountered Ricky Hollar, 37, of Goshen.
According to police, Hollar attempted to flee when officers approached him, leading to a short foot pursuit. He was apprehended and charged with public intoxication, resisting law enforcement, and refusal to identify himself.
Hollar was taken into custody and transported to the Elkhart County Jail.
