A motorcyclist was arrested on Wednesday after a pursuit in Elkhart around 10:55 a.m.

It happened Tuesday when an Elkhart Police officer saw a Harley motorcycle displaying a stolen registration.

When the officer attempted to pull the motorcycle over, the driver disregarded and continued driving.

Goshen and Middlebury Police Departments joined to assist in the pursuit, and it ended when the motorcycle drove off the side of State Road 4.

A brief foot pursuit took place, but the driver, identified as 31-year-old Harry Bice of Goshen, was taken into custody. He was booked on preliminary charges of Resisting Law Enforcement in a Motor Vehicle, Operating a Motor Vehicle as a Habitual Traffic Violator and Criminal Trespass.
