An Edwardsburg man has been sentenced to probation and jail in Cass County Court for criminal sexual conduct.

Pedro Moreno-Lopez, 47, pleaded no contest to attempted second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person under 13 and was sentenced to one year in jail, five years probation and must register as a sex offender.

The incident happened earlier this year. Leader Publications reports Lopez had also taken secret photos of the victim and others through a hole in a bathroom tile.
