Trial dates have been set for five suspects charged in connection with a September armed robbery.

The robbery happened on Middlebury Street on Elkhart.

Court documents say two victims reported the robbery to police after being approached in their vehicle by two masked men displaying guns.

The Goshen News says one suspect allegedly threatened the driver with a knife and pistol, while another took the passenger’s wallet.

Police later searched a nearby apartment, arresting two 17-year-olds, Issac Duckworth and Kaleb Goodwin, as well as Emarri Redmond, Carrie Layton, and Alora Layton, all from Elkhart.

They face armed robbery charges and had trial dates set for early March.
