Dutch Creek Animal Farm in LaGrange County, which was shut down weeks ago, is now facing a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday.
The USDA accuses the facility of multiple violations of the Animal Welfare Act, citing 90 violations in the past year alone.
The lawsuit details dangerous and unsanitary conditions and reports multiple animal deaths.
It states that owner Vernon Miller has repeatedly been cited for similar violations and has failed to comply despite numerous warnings, showing a disregard for the law and the well-being of the animals at the facility.
