Survey says Indiana young adults rank 2nd for voting preparedness

A recent study ranks Indiana #2 when it comes to young adults being prepared for voting this November.

However, Indiana’s young adults don’t rank too high when it comes to other adult responsibilities.

Preply surveyed 2,000 people across the country to find out about their preparedness for adult responsibilities, and Indiana ranked #20 for feeling most prepared.

The study shows 86 percent feel prepared for voting. 62 percent feel prepared for medical decisions, and 32 percent feel prepared for marriage.

30 percent feel prepared for total financial independence, and 26 percent feel prepared for property ownership.

60 percent of Indiana’s young adults say their parents prepared them best out of any information source available.
