Suspect arrested in South Bend fast-food restaurant shooting

A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a shooting incident outside a South Bend fast-food restaurant this past weekend.
Officers were called on the report of gunfire around 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, near the 1100 block of Ireland Road.
Officers discovered a man with non-life-threatening injuries who was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Through evidence processing and investigation, police identified and detained the suspect, Cy Clark, Jr., close to the scene.
 The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office has since charged Clark with Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon.
He’s currently held at the St. Joseph County Jail.
